To my past selves and all

While writing this, I was reminded of couple of things.

When I was sixteen or seventeen years old that I started to learn programming in the high school, the first language was C.
It took me a while just to understand what the magical scripts mean, and even after I understood, I was not sure was practical, so bored except the satisfaction of solving.

1 plus 2 equals 3.
A single character is single value. Therefore, we able to define an array of characters as a string.
It was too straightforward, too simple-minded - anyway, I didn’t get to know whether was stupid or rather genius.

Also when I learned linear algebra in university, that was just the same feeling.

The thing what I’m doing now must seem quite strange to some of my past selves.

“So, when I will get how to create games or artificial intelligences?”

No problem. I’ve already understood, and your dream has still yet in myself.

At first, you suffer that you can’t become anything.
Later, you discovered the allure of sound through composing, you learn signal processing, deep learning, random process and entropy theory.
In those processes, you had already found the book “APL Congress 73” at the library of university at the basement floor or the dusty stockroom. Surely I learned it, too, and realized the usefulness of the concise notation APL proposed in expression of vector algebra.

What was the lucky boy as looking back!!

In contrast, probably, it is becoming few opportunity because of rich chatbots.
But I don’t think it because of them.

I find many of sociologists wrong from fundamentals, I find people who call themselves “AI engineer” also wrong from the existence, and, anyway, I don’t want all students who want their own unique identities to be like them.

I criticize them for future, strictly. And I cheer all leaders of future.
This claim must not be prevented from any deterrence.
I’ll mention my efforts are not for AI consumers and its usefulness or efficiency toward business.
All you need should not be strategies, but should be exploring.

Many of generalists would consider me as harmful or arrogant immediately for their benefits or self-esteem.
But, you must have already remembered:

Heliocentrism denied geocentrism.
Darwin’s theory of evolution denied creationism.
Bullshit jobs denied free-market capitalism.

All things wrong but people believe absolutely are difficult to raise.
The counterarguments they put forward were always things never allowed to voice.
And after the victories, people always mock its histories though, I realize that these lessons have not been applied at all to what we face on today.

While we try to solve tiny problems, we challenge to solve massive problems.
Don’t be afraid. All things we try to do are based on only fundamental things.
